Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Reachstaff ("Reachstaff", "Reach", "we", "us") handles personal information when you use reachstaff.com, the Reach app at reachstaff.com/app/ and staple-502909.web.app, and emails we send (together, the "Service").

1. Information we collect

• Account information: your name, email address and profile photo when you create an account with email and password or sign in with Google. With Google sign-in we receive only your basic profile (name, email address and profile picture). We do not get access to your Gmail, Drive or contacts.
• Profile and content: details you add, such as headline, about section, education, work history, skills, licences, certificates, Reach ID cards, posts, comments, likes, job and gig listings, services, applications, messages, photos, videos and documents.
• Verification information: if you choose identity, business or skills verification, the documents, exam answers and results you submit.
• Payment information: payments for Pro plans and exams are processed by Stripe. We receive payment status, amounts and limited billing details. We do not store full card numbers.
• Launch list: if you join the launch list on reachstaff.com, your email address and confirmation status.
• Technical information: device and browser information, sign-in and security events, and settings saved in your browser's local storage (for example appearance and launch-list status).

2. How we use information

• To create and secure your account, including sign-in approval and fraud prevention.
• To run the Service: show your profile, listings, services and posts, match jobs, talent and services, and deliver messages and notifications.
• To process payments, invoices and receipts, and to handle disputes.
• To verify identities, businesses and skills, and to generate and mark skills exams.
• To moderate content and keep the community safe.
• To send service emails (for example sign-in, verification, support, finance and notification emails), and launch or newsletter emails you asked for.

3. How information is shared

We do not sell personal information. We share it only:

• With other users, for content you choose to publish (for example your public profile, Reach ID, listings, services and posts) and with people you apply to, hire, message or trade with.
• With service providers who process data for us: Google (Firebase Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions, Vertex AI and Google Workspace email), Stripe (payments) and OpenAI (automated content moderation and AI-assisted features).
• For legal reasons, when required by law or to protect the rights, safety and property of users or Reachstaff.

4. Google user data

When you sign in with Google, Reachstaff uses your Google name, email address and profile picture only to create and sign in to your Reach account and to display your profile. We do not use Google user data for advertising, do not sell it, and do not transfer it except as needed to provide the Service, for security, or as required by law. Reachstaff's use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

5. Storage, retention and security

Data is stored on Google Cloud infrastructure, which may be located outside your country. We keep your account and content while your account is active and for as long as needed for payments, disputes, security and legal obligations. We use access controls, encrypted connections and private storage to protect your information. No system is completely secure, so please keep your password safe.

6. Your choices and rights

• You can view and edit most of your information in your profile settings.
• You can unsubscribe from launch and newsletter emails at any time using the link in those emails.
• You can ask us to access, correct, export or delete your personal information by emailing support@reachstaff.com.
• You can remove Reachstaff's access to your Google account at myaccount.google.com/permissions.

7. Children

The Service is not intended for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

8. Changes

We may update this policy. If we make significant changes, we will update the date above and notify users where appropriate.
